Base Epiphone has hot pickups. I ended up with a Peerless Songbird and put some pickups from a Gibson ES-330 P90 VOS. If I could have afforded it I would have gone for the ES-330. Depending on the model the neck can be chunky. If that’s a concern, the Casino Elitist might be better. I’ve only heard great things about it.
